Location of Lakeshore Center at Okoboji


Lakeshore Center at Okoboji is located on Highway 86 just north of Milford, IA in the village of Wahpeton.  This secluded setting is located on 55 acres along the shores of West Lake Okoboji, with 600’ of beautiful sand beach lakeshore, complete with a canopy of large oak trees.

From the north:

At the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 86, head south on Hwy. 86 until you come to the Wahpeton water tower.  Lakeshore Center is located across the road and just south from the water tower.

From the south:

Come north on Highway 71 through Milford.  At the stoplight by Perkins Restaurant, you will turn left onto Highway 86.  Continue on this winding road until you pass the Village of Wahpeton Sign.  Lakeshore Center is located on your right, just before the water tower.

Young at Heart Retreat

September 9-11, 2014

We often think that camp is just for the kids, but that's not true here at Lakeshore Center. Camp can be for God's older children as well! Join us for our Young at Heart Retreat and let yourself play like a kid again. For this retreat, individuals who are 55 years and older will spend the weekend of September 9th-11th eating s'mores around a campfire, canoeing and kayaking, visiting the Clay County Fair, bible studies, and meeting new friends. Conflict Transformation Skills Workshop

Hobby & Art Retreat

Bring your scrapbook paper, sewing machines, cameras, quilting squares, stamps, and anything else you need for arts and crafts. On September 26th-28th we are inviting all you arts and crafts junkies to spend the weekend at Lakeshore while you create your masterpieces! Fall Work Day

Take this opportunity and treat it like a mission trip! Volunteer at Lakeshore Center on October 4th, and see what we are all about. Our facility and buildings made us proud this summer, but now that summer is over, they are in need of some attention. If you plan on serving 6 hours on October 4th, you are welcomed to stay in one of our Lodge rooms on the night of October 3rd for free. Call our office at 712-337-3313 to book your room today.
